About the event
Bob Zellner is a name everyone should know if you are studying activism and organizing, particularly when looking for examples of co-conspirators. The first white Field Secretary for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), Bob engages with a unique slice of history and has the stories plus wisdom to match. With intense and joyful moments interwoven together, AJ and Bob will focus on the experiences that led Bob to befriend, learn from and defend some of the most historic names we know. In the first part of this part series, the duo will meander through the 40s and 50s, focusing on Bob's early life and moments that led him to eventually join SNCC. This interactive session invites all of us to take a look at how the choices we make in moments that may seem small at the time but can have lasting effects.
